Martin Kriegner takes over LafargeHolcim India

Martin Kriegner, currently Lafarge Holcim’s area manager central Europe takes over as head of India from next month.

He will report to Eric Olsen, group chief executive and succeeds Bernard Terver who retires.

Martin Kriegner joined LafargeHolcim in 1990 and has previously held several senior leadership positions in the group. He graduated from Vienna University with a Doctorate in Law and obtained an MBA at the University of Economics in Vienna. Martin Kriegner is an Austrian national.

Bernard Terver, who joined the group in 1994, was responsible for Ambuja Cements and ACC in India since 2014 and was appointed head of India at LafargeHolcim following the merger.
