Ward Nye, chairman, Martin Marietta, will this morning discuss with members of Congress the important role that the aggregates industry plays in building this country’s infrastructure.
During today's hearing, Nye will also address the effects of regulation.
Nye will testify on behalf of National Sand, Stone and Gravel Association before the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources.
The hearing is entitled: Rocks to Roads: The Importance of Domestically Sourced Raw Materials for Infrastructure Projects.
