Motion Industries to open distribution centre in Pacific Northwest

Motion Industries (MI) will open a new distribution centre in Auburn, Washington, in late Spring in 2018 to serve its North American footprint. The facility will ship a range of industrial parts and supplies including bearings, power transmission products, fluid power components, electrical parts and safety supplies.

The distribution centre will cover over 62,000 feet and is intended to complement the company’s facilities in Birmingham, Tracy, Chicago, Baltimore, Dallas, Edmonton and Lachine.

Tim Breen, MI president and CEO, said, “Speed to market is important to customers, and it is important to us. This distribution centre’s location will be key to getting customers the parts and supplies they need even faster than before.”
