MSHA to host quarterly stakeholder call on 16 October

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) will hold its next quarterly stakeholder call on the 16 October from 11.00am. David G. Zatezalo, assistant secretary, will open the call with remarks about the recent developments at the agency and will be available for questions at the close.

The session will cover topics such as vehicle fire safety, in light of three recent accidents in which fire suppression systems did not function properly and the launch of conveyor safety outreach, part of the Powered Haulage Safety Initiative.

Attendees can RSVP for the call here by the 15 October and can also send questions or suggest topics for future calls at this link.
