The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association is inviting applications for the 2015 Jennifer Curtis Byler Scholarship.
This $5,000 scholarship was created to memorialize the life and accomplishments of the daughter of Jack Curtis at LC Curtis and Son, a Georgia sand and gravel producer. Jennifer was a mother of four and active in political organizations.
She served on various boards and commissions, including the Republican National Committee, and was a fundraiser for Republican candidates.
In her honor, graduating high school seniors or current college students who intend to pursue a career in politics, public relations or a related field and are the children of aggregate industry employees are encouraged to apply.
