NRMCA president to retire after March 2019 annual convention

The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s (NRMCA) president Robert A. Garbini, has confirmed he will retire after the organisation’s annual convention in March 2019.

Garbini has worked for the NRMCA for 27 years and has spent 44 years overall in the construction industry.

Garbini says he is sure the NRMCA professionals and member leadership will continue to achieve all the goals for advancing concrete’s interests in the building sector, local pavement market and advocacy field.

Rodney Grogan, NRMCA chairman thanked Garbini for his years of service and dedication and regarded him as a faithful advocate and leader of the association and ready mixed concrete industry.

Gorgan confirmed Bill Childs, Chaney Enterprises, will lead a search committee to identify a candidate to replace Gabrini.
