NRMCA to host webinars on designing and specifying pervious concrete

The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association will host a two-part webinar on the 13 and 20 February on implementing pervious concrete pavements as solution to reducing stormwater runoff from building sites and other paved areas. It is aimed at helping civil engineers, architects, landscape architects and public works officials understand the principles behind pervious concrete design. The sessions can also benefit contractors, product suppliers and land developers. 

The first session will cover discusses hydrologic and structural design of pervious concrete pavements. Part two will explore the specifics that every specifier should consider when drafting pervious concrete specifications, with a focus on American Concrete Institute Committee 522 Guide to Specification for Pervious Concrete.
