The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) has uploaded a podcast following a meeting with Senate Environment and Public Works Committee to learn about the committee’s infrastructure bill.
NSSGA says the five-year, $287 billion bill would be a 27% increase over the funding included in the 2015 FAST Act.
The association welcomes the introduction of another long-term bill, as they provide more certainty for the industry and states to plan for improvements to roads, highways and bridges than short-term extensions.
