NSSGA senior vice president William 'Bill' Ford dies

The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) has confirmed William ‘Bill’ Ford passed away on 15 September, due to complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. He joined the association in 1990 and served as senior vice president by his retirement in 2011. 

The NSSGA says Ford's colleagues remember him as a champion of the industry who always treated his teammates with respect and kindness.

Michael W. Johnson, NSSGA president and CEO, says: “Bill’s wisdom and leadership helped protect public safety and advance the goals of NSSGA’s members. On behalf of our association and the entire industry, we offer our sincerest condolences to Bill’s friends and family.”
