The cost to repair Oroville dam, the nation’s tallest dam, after a nearly catastrophic failure of the spillways will cost at least $500 million, nearly double of the original estimate of $275 million, in a report by The Columbian.
The repair work on the damaged spillways is being carried out by the main contractor Klewit Corp
