Ozinga has received two awards at the Wisconsin Ready Mix Concrete Association Annual Concrete Design Awards ceremony, according to a report by Portage Life. The event recognises the best use of ready mix concrete in the state and in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
These recognised projects, according to Ritch Dembinsky, executive vice president of Ozinga’s Northern Illinois and Wisconsin ready mix operations, further proves the dedication of the team to grow in communities.
The fourth-generation family owned company took the Commercial award for its work on the 34-story high rise 7Seventy7 building that comprises 40,000 cubic yards of ready mix concrete.
Additionally, Ozinga earned the Southeast Region award for the Meddaugh Residence, which consisted of a patio, driveway and walkway that used integral colour as well as stamping.
