Spain raids concrete companies in price-fixing probe

Spain’s competition watchdog on Monday announced it has raided several precast concrete makers for their potential involvement in a price-fixing cartel, adding another regulator to the list of those in recent years who have investigated and punished cement makers in various product markets for anti-competitive activity.

The National Commission of Markets and Competition said it conducted its inspections on Thursday and Friday, looking for evidence of possible agreements to fix the price of precast concrete supplies.
