Summit Materials has announced that M. Shane Evans is to leave his role as executive vice president, west division president from 1 January 2020. He will continue to serve in an advisory capacity for the company.
Evans says: “Leaving my current role is a difficult decision. However, I have been looking to spend more time with my family, and feel the timing is right for me to change gears professionally in order to be able to do so.”
Summit’s CEO Thomas W. Hill says: “Shane has been with Summit since our founding days and has been an incredible contributor to our organisation. While we are sorry to see him leave his role as our west division president, we understand his desire to devote more time to his family.”
