Supermix supplied ready mixed concrete to one of the largest continuous concrete foundation mat pours in the history of South Florida at the 47-story Mansions of Acqualina II located at 17749 Collins Avenue, City of Sunny Isles Beach.
Coastal Construction Company, the Construction Manager, and Capform Inc, the forming & shell contractor, placed 8,200 cubic yards of ready mixed concrete for the foundation in 22 hours using 5 concrete boom pumps supplied by C&C Concrete Finishing and Pumping
The flurry of activity began at 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 26th and ran for 18 hours into Sunday, as Supermix’s ready-mix concrete trucks fed five concrete boom pumps, supplied by C&C Concrete Pumping, with 8,200 cubic yards of ready-mix concrete to create the building’s foundation.
