Buzzi Unicem USA says three of its cement manufacturing facilities have earned Energy Star certification from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for superior energy performance.
According to Buzzi Unicem, the plants located in Chattanooga (Tennessee), Festus (Missouri) and Maryneal (Texas) have received EPA recognition for the tenth consecutive year.
The EPA’s Energy Star programme is recognised as a resource for saving energy and protecting the environment.
