US-based United Bulk Carriers (UBC) and Germany’s Baltrader have formed the Cement Carrier Alliance (CCA) to offer a range of vessel sizes to customers.
The partners operate 15 self-discharging cement carriers with a range of 3,000 to 15,000 vessels.
“As two independent partners motivated by the same objectives, we have teamed up for the marketing of our respective cement carrier fleets,” CCA said in a statement.
Both parties will remain independent entities and will operate at their own offices. CCA will be jointly represented by the UBC office in Philadelphia and the Baltrader office in Hamburg.
CCA member partners will participate at the 100th Intercem conference in Istanbul from 24-26 June. Also, the alliance will launch a website to showcase its diversified fleet to clients.
