Lafarge Tarmac has reaffirmed its commitment to creating a more sustainable built environment with the publication of their online 2014 Sustainability Report.
The report highlights the fundamental role that whole-life thinking plays in driving the company’s transformational business vision, supporting UK sustainability targets and delivering sustainable solutions with its customers.
Dr Martyn Kenny, sustainability director at Lafarge Tarmac, said: ‘We are embedding sustainability into everything we do; it’s about securing long-term success for our business, customers and communities.’In creating construction solutions that are relevant to every aspect of the built environment, we recognize our responsibility to grow our business in a way that is good for people and the environment.
“We are transforming our business by thinking holistically about our operations, products and services; pushing the boundaries to help create more sustainable buildings and infrastructure.'”
