June 28, 2017

The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association is offering the chance to rock DC this fall at its newest event, the Legislative and Policy Forum/Fall Board Meeting.

“If we don’t advocate for our industry, no one else will. We need you to join us and help make an impact in Washington, DC,” said Michael W Johnson, chief executive, National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association.

“We are going to meet with members of Congress as one unified and coordinated team and discuss the laws and regulations that affect our businesses.

The forum is open to anyone in the industry regardless of expertise or job role and NSSGA will hold several prep sessions to make those conversations with lawmakers as easy as possible.

“All politics are local, and we want to help our members have positive relationships with their local politicians with these face-to-face meetings,” Johnson said.

The event will also bring in experts to lead a variety of breakout sessions covering marketing, sales, environmental and management best practices, and provide a venue for all NSSGA committees to meet.
