Vulcan gets approval to expand quarry in California

Vulcan Materials Company has approval from the Kern County (California) to approve expansion of Vulcan’s San Emidio Quarry in its Western Division in California.

The Western Division employs over 850 people at 36 crushed stone, sand, and gravel facilities, as well as hot-mix asphalt facilities.

“The aggregate produced at San Emidio will supply the materials that are vital to infrastructure projects for many generations,” says Brock Lodge, president, Vulcan Western Division.
