World of Asphalt offers over 100 educational sessions

The World of Asphalt Show & Conference and AGG1 Academy & Expo 2016 will offer valuable learning opportunities to help aggregates and asphalt industry professionals stay competitive in today’s marketplace.

More than 115 education sessions will provide “real-world operational and management strategies and techniques” to help attendees improve professional knowledge and company productivity, the organiser says.

AGG1 Academy & Expo and World of Asphalt Show & Conference will be held March 22-24, 2016 at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN. The shows target the business and professional-development needs of aggregates, asphalt, pavement maintenance and traffic safety industry professionals.

“Education is integral to the AGG1 and World of Asphalt experiences; the expert presentations and invaluable peer networking help attendees sharpen their skills and bring practical solutions back to the workplace,” said Rick Feltes of LafargeHolcim, AGG1 chair representing the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association.

Registering for the co-located exhibitions by January 29 saves time as well as education discounts and more than 25 percent off the registration fee. One registration covers both shows, and attendees have access to all education programs, space permitting.

Attendees will also find the largest show floor ever with more than 150,000 net square feet of exhibits from leading manufacturers and suppliers showcasing their latest equipment and product innovations.

“World of Asphalt and AGG1 were created and are guided by our industries; that’s a key reason for their success in offering products and best practices that make a difference in helping attendees and their companies grow and thrive,” said Rick Moore of Lehman-Roberts Company, World of Asphalt chair representing the National Asphalt Pavement Association.
