The Mine Safety and Health Administration’s (MSHA) assistant secretary David Zatezalo will speak at the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) Legislative & Policy Forum.
Zatezalo will discuss the importance of keeping workers safe on the job and the agency’s efforts to prevent death, illness and injury on the work site at the forum’s Lunch with a Lawmaker session on 18 November.
As part of the session, NSSGA will highlight aggregates operations and companies with the association’s annual Safety Excellence Awards. These awards are presented in recognition of individual operations for maintaining a safe workplace.
